In 2017 and 2018, we organised a MolBio Retreat at the Monastery Obermarchtal, bringing together academia and industry enthusiasts for a memorable event. The diverse programs featured insightful talks on career paths in both academia and industry. Sessions on science and ethics challenged attendees to explore the moral dimensions of their research. Enthusiastic students showcased their work through engaging poster sessions and concise 3-minute talks and joined interactive workshops. During the evening social program, participants had the chance to engage in a lively pub quiz and eagerly anticipated MolBio party.
